Sweet Millie came into rescue when a kind family member reached out to our rescue partners in AL. Her owner was keeping her outside tied up on a chain and then was trying to get rid of her on social media. The family member knew how sweet and gentle she was and wanted her to have a better fate- so she reached out to our partners to see if they could help her find a great home. She's estimated to be about 5-6 months old and currently weighs 35ish lbs. We believe she's a Lab/Shepherd mix but that is just a guesstimate based on her appearance. She is playful but can chill out as well. She needs a family that understands that she has lived her early months outside and a home with a loving family, while amazing, will also be entirely new to her. She is currently in AL but we hope to bring her to Maine this fall and find her an amazing family that will help her forget her life on a chain.<br/><br/>If you think you might be interested in adopting Millie or just want to get pre-approved to adopt through us, please fill out an application on our website.
