Millie's Story

Millie is so sweet to her humans when she bonds with you-she must have some Chi in her because she likes to find her person! She can be a little uncomfy and vocal around men and has some challenges that we think have made it a little more difficult to find her a forever home. She is suuuuuuuch smart girl and will learn your routine like
THAT
! And forget needing to set an alarm on your phone or watch-this girl’s internal alarm clock is award-winning!

Millie does like to be Canine Queen of her Castle and needs to be the only dog in the home. This girl is tiny but mighty...and she will react...lets just say fervently...to other dogs. So no other pups in the home.

She is the Queen of her Castle...but she likes humans to be around to do her bidding when she needs something...so an adopter would need to not be gone long during the day and so would either need someone that pops in and out a lot, or, even better, someone that works from home or is retired. She does not like to be confined to a crate within her Castle for long!

We think little Mills is still with us because she does have a severely collapsing airway that means just a few things for her like she cannot wear a collar (she has to get her bling from her crown and not her collar lol), and if it is a hot and humid day long walks are not good for her. But she is an active girl and has seen internal medicine at NVS and they have assured us that if her new humans are careful with her, she can live a long, normal life span! If a new home had a fence she wouldn't even need walks!
She does love to go in the car and her fosters take her along everywhere which is awesome! Because of her

airway collapse she also has to remain intact because she cannot be put under for anesthesia so someone would need to know that also.
