Millie #24's Story
Millie #24 is a beautiful 4.5-year-old Golden Retriever with a gentle heart and a strong desire to please her people. She is incredibly smart and thrives on connection, making her a joy to work with and a wonderful companion in the making.

For the first time in her life, Millie is getting to experience what it means to simply be a dog — running freely in a fenced yard, stretching her legs, and discovering the world around her without the limits of a leash or pen. Watching her explore with curiosity and quiet excitement has been nothing short of heart-melting. Millie does well with other dogs and would do best in a home with a canine companion to help continue building her confidence and show her the ropes. A securely fenced yard is important for her so she can safely enjoy her newfound freedom.

She is already learning her house manners and has taken to her crate beautifully, finding comfort and security in having a space of her own. Above all else, Millie is simply a love — affectionate, gentle, and endlessly sweet. In fact, “Sweetie” might have been the most fitting name of all.

QUESTIONS: For additional information about Millie #24 please email Ann
Hilchey: ann.hilchey@labs4rescue.org

Millie #24 is being fostered in Connecticut.

🐾 HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt).
