MILES (Neutered!) Black Labrador Retriever Mix Crossville, TN

MILES is one male puppy in a litter of four male puppies that arrived together at the shelter the latter part of February (six months ago!!!) They are listed as Lab mixes and were 6 to 7 weeks of age at intake. The photo of him as a small puppy was taken right after they arrived at the shelter. Unfortunately, they were put on a court hold until the case against their owner could be resolved. They are now, finally, available for adoption and new photos will be forthcoming soon. However, MILES and his siblings are now six months older. So there has been quite a change! Thanks to a new partnership between the University of Tennessee and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, MILES was neutered and received a rabies vaccine on Monday, October 23. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt him. Even better, take a dog crate with you. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
