Miles's Story

Miles - If you love huskies but don’t feel quite ready for their high energy and intensity, you will be absolutely delighted to meet Miles.

Miles is a sweet, gentle boy who is just getting his mojo back after spending three long years in a Central Valley shelter. As you can imagine, his coat needed some serious TLC—but he was groomed recently and is feeling so good. His vetting is fully up to date, and his gorgeous mask is finally getting the spotlight it deserves.

Now that Miles is free, his delightful personality is coming to life. He’s soaking up fresh air and sunshine, happily exploring the world again—and yes, he even gets the zoomies!
Miles is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs around 60 pounds.

He truly loves people and wants nothing more than to be near his human. After such a long time in a shelter, he does need some basic training, but he is willing, gentle, and responsive, especially when treats are involved. With patience and time, this boy will blossom.

Miles is a little treasure. Someone who has time to spend will be richly rewarded by the love and companionship he offers. In his own words:
“I’m not much trouble. I just want a family.”

Come meet Miles for a special interaction—he’s warming up beautifully to life outside the shelter, and his future is waiting.
