I used to live with another family but life got in the way and I was put up for adoption. At first I missed them and had what foster mom calls separation anxiety but I have gotten much better. Im currently living with my foster mom and 2 four legged foster siblings. We hit it off right away which was a very good thing. The one thing I didnt hit it off with, was my crate. I became an escape artist, a new career for me. I kept looking for my foster mom but she wasnt in the house at all. She did eventually come back and now I know, I wont be left alone so Im good in the crate. She actually says Miles, crate up and I go right in. I guess I shouldve taken the clue from my foster siblings but I didnt. That made foster mom very upset because she thought I might hurt myself. Well, that is behind us now and I can say I graduated from crate training school. Oh, wait I have to tell you, the reason why Im letting you know about me is because Im looking for a new furever home. I know my family is out there but please dont wait too long to come get me. Lets see what else you need to know about me. I love to eat and can actually stay with my foster siblings while mom is getting our food ready. Sometimes though, I finish first and like to go see if the others are done which doesnt make them happy. I just back away and wait until they finish so I can check out their food stations. I do all my business outside, no messes in the house for me! When Im outside, I do like to look for the squirrels but I havent caught any yet, theyre too fast for me. I have a nice yard to play and run in and can also walk on a leash, with a lot of guidance though I'm learning. When company comes, Im a little standoff at first but then I greet them with the typical boxer bow and I try to give them a hug but Im so big that Im told down and I listen. Hmmmm......what else can I tell you about myself, one thing is that Im a beautiful boxer baby (Im 4 years old but act like a puppy at times). Oh and when foster mom is eating at the table, I dont bother her, I know my manners. I will need to go for some formal training but that will help you and I get to know each other better and Ill get to know what you expect from me. One thing you can expect from me is a typical boxer boy, yes I do the beanie dance, wiggle and my nub goes a mile a minute.

5/17/26-Miles so far is the perfect gentleman. Im eating dinner and not one peep out of him.
He also stands around with my dogs Emalee and Seale as Im getting their dinner ready.

5/16/26-Miles is a handsome 4 year old male boxer that came in today from the south thanks to some great volunteers. He lived with & was good with another dog & several younger kids. His owner was being kicked out of their house because they had too many children and they couldnt manage the 2 dogs. The volunteer in the south heard about the dogs through the shelter as it was full so they were just going to be euthanized due to no space(sad reality of overcrowded southern shelters). He is already neutered & up to date so once we get to know him & his needs better he will be ready for his new home.
