Miles Hound & Boxer Mix Palatine, IL

Miles is the perfect name for a dog that made his way to SCCR from way down south. He is a sweet boy that traveled far to keep you smiling all day.

Miles is a curious dog that enjoys walks in the neighborhood, sniffing and reading the news of the day. When back at home, he enjoys trying to figure out the squirrels running around in the backyard (don’t try too hard, Miles). This gentle boy has not one aggressive bone in his body…he knows he catches more flies with honey. He loves everyone and is submissive to other dogs.

Miles is working on learning commands, is doing great with house training and is still figuring out the concept of fetch. We can’t all be labs, ya know! Miles is a young dog at 2 years old. While he has matured, he is still working on breaking some bad habits such as munching on the insoles of shoes. Not the whole shoe, just the insole….(you do you, Miles). Every once in a while, he finds the corner of tables irresistible (again, you do you, Miles).

One thing is for sure, this boy is eager to please and with some positive training, he will discover that shoe insoles, in fact, taste awful!
