Mila

Mila is an adorable little lady, ready to begin her journey to a forever home. Mila is a Carin Terrier mix, 13 pounds, 2 years old, cute, lively and with Personality Plus. She is at times a little Diva, a Princess, who owns her world. She is very affectionate with her people, stand-offish with strangers, but once she warms up she is a personable greeter. She dances, wiggles all over, gives unending kisses when she is happy to see you. Strangers she barks and guards her home. She is a Big Dog in attitude but in a small portable loveable little dog package. Mila loves her toys, chews, bagel bed and her tiny crate. I never crate her but she likes to go in and nap sometimes. Mila is a typical female she changes her mind often in her preferences. I often find her napping in the bedroom on my bed, sunroom chair by the window or even on the back of the sofa. This girl as I said owns her world. She sees no reason not to do as she pleases. I have to agree with her because she is never destructive so why not . She is a mix of action packed or sweet little darling cuddled in my lap or by my feet. Mila is tiny but she loves to wrestle with the Wire Fox Boys Theo and T. Bear. She can hold her own and if she gets upset with them she promptly puts them in their place. She takes toys away from them, chases them out of her bed, bossy girl but she also loves to play. She loves Tag a former puppy mill dog and likes to cuddle with him in our doggie bunk bed. I think she senses his fear and insecurity. Mila is a complicated little girl different personality but oh so adorable and fun. I really enjoy her she is portable I can scoop her up and take her on errands. She lays on the console with her little head on my arm. She Loves car rides. Mila also gets excited when she sees her harness she knows that means walks. Cold weather doesn’t seem to bother her she loves the snow. Runs in circles head down in sheer delight especially if one of the boys runs with her. Mila is house trained, fully vetted and health is prefect. She is spayed, fecal check, 4 dx Heartworm tested Neg. Full blood panel, teeth cleaned, microchipped. Her coat will get long so I would recommend grooming. She doesn’t shed fine with a bath and brush. She hates nail trims or ear cleaning but we did it anyway. ? Mila would be a perfect companion for a retired couple. She does prefer women but will accept kindness from men. She loves a secure fenced yard to run in. She wouldn’t stay home if she had a chance to run. She always races to the gate if she sees me going out. She would be fine as an only dog or ok with a male who understands she is boss. Mila isn’t good with small children, wouldn’t do well in a home where she is alone all day she needs someone who will pamper her yet show her life does have limits. She was owner surrendered because they worked all day and she was home alone too much. She was very unhappy and acted out to prove her point. She is very bright and this girl knows what she wants. She is a wonderful comical loving companion who like all dogs needs the Right home. She is ready and waiting, lives in Iowa.
