Meet Miguel — A Sweet Boy Who Deserves a Second Chance<br/>Miguel is a beautiful 2-year-old Small Goldendoodle whose life took an unexpected and frightening turn through absolutely no fault of his own.<br/><br/>TLC K9 Rescue was recently contacted about Miguel after learning that he came from a shelter in Mexicali. Sadly, he is now facing the possibility of being returned to that shelter because of an incident that happened during a meet-and-greet with a potential adopter.<br/><br/>And my heart breaks for him, because Miguel did nothing wrong.<br/>During the meet-and-greet at the potential adopter's home, their dog attacked Miguel. Sweet Miguel didn't even want to fight back. He tried to walk away, but the other dog continued pursuing him. Instead of properly managing the situation, the owner began shocking their own dog with a shock collar and then struck Miguel.<br/><br/>Miguel's handler was understandably upset and immediately removed him from the home.<br/><br/>Thankfully, this frightening experience did not change Miguel's beautiful personality. ❤ï ̧ He remains a sweet, gentle, calm and loving. He's an incredibly sweet boy who is doing wonderfully with the other dogs he has met since.<br/><br/>Miguel deserves so much more than being passed from one shelter to another because of a situation he never caused. He deserves a family who will protect him, understand him and give him the opportunity to finally feel safe and loved.<br/><br/>Miguel would love a home with a secure yard where he can run, play and enjoy being a dog. He may also enjoy having another friendly dog around his size to become his companion and best friend.<br/>He a great traveler and enjoys his walks tremendously.<br/><br/>Miguel is healthy, neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.<br/><br/>This sweet boy has already experienced enough uncertainty.
