Micah's Story

Micah has been returned to MAGDRL as his youthful energy and tendency towards getting over stimulated was overwhelming for his adopters. Micah is back at the kennel where he was trained and his training is being reinforced.

With the correct approach and consistency, Micah will be a very good boy for the right adopter. He was at the vet recently and loved everyone there, giving kisses to anyone who came to say hello to him. He is approximately a year old now and still has growing to do, he is going to be a big boy.

He plays rough and cannot be allowed to get hyped up, small corrections are all he needs when he overreacts. He can be placed with another dog but play will need to be supervised, large dogs only. He is ready for an adopter or a foster home who will continue the training that has been implemented for him so far that has been very effective in making him a manageable and cooperative adolescent.

An active home is best, Micah needs an outlet for his energy level as would any young Dane.

Please include your home area code and a phone number where a volunteer can reach you when contacting us about an adoption.

For more information on this dog and our adoption policies, visit MAGDRL at https://www.magdrl.org.
