Mia's Story
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE POST AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AT THE BOTTOM.

Hi, I'm Mia, a beautiful, sweet, affectionate, graceful, and playful and loving four year, 51 pound cream and apricot Standard Poodle. I love to be active, and also to nap on dog beds and furniture. I love chasing butterflies, playing with other larger playful dogs, and receiving and giving love.

Mia is fostered in Linn County, about an hour from Eugene, Sisters, Salem, Corvallis and Portland. We will meet part way for folks coming from afar.

I am house trained, I ride well in the car, and am off leash recall trained. I seek a home with active folks who are not gone long hours, and a good sized yard with a 6 foot fence. I love to run free and to play with large playful dogs. I have 10-14 years of life left and I want to spend it all in my forever home with my adopters.

Mia seeks a home with a primary woman handler. She will approach a gentle man in her home over time and is now seeking pets from her foster dad. Mia came from a neglectful past and we were told that she had some abuse by a man in her past. She has come very far in her 2 plus months in rescue, and is a truly happy dog.

Mia is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, fecal tested negative, and groomed. Her adoption fee is $600.

A great home and must haves for Mia include:

1. An owned home with a 5 foot minimum securely fenced good sized yard.
2. A primary handler who is female.
2. Folks not gone long hours.
3. People who treat their pets as family members, allowing them on furniture and including them on outings.
4. Adopters who are gentle and patient, and experienced rescue dog owners.
5. Folks who know and are prepared for the cost of grooming, vet care and good nutrition.
6. A no crate home.

If you are meet all the above criteria and think Mia may make a great new family member, please complete and application or inquire as requested below.

Email us at woofovermyhead@gmail.com with "Mia" in the subject line.
