Meet Mia and Tiny

These "ladies of a certain age" are on the hunt for the perfect retirement village. Their requirements? Plush furnishings, a wide selection of ornamental throw pillows, a fully stocked game and snack room, and basic cable. Shouldn't be too hard to find, right?

Tiny and Mia are a spritely six-year-old bonded pair - they bicker like sisters, groom like lovers, and play like best friends. Mia, the spicy chi latte, has some opinions. Tiny, the ewok chorkie, *might* have opinions, but mostly she just agrees with everything Mia says. They both enjoy a good spot of outdoor sunshine, but are less explorers and more "home is where the heart, and body, and food, and cozy bed is" types.

These two are looking for a home together where they can snack and snooze in style. They're crate trained, and housetrained when kept on a consistent schedule. They're comfortable cohabitating with other canines, but don't expect this duo to become a triad.

Interested in becoming a forever home for Mia and Tiny? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.

Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Mia and Tiny.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Mia and Tiny the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.

Our adoption fee is $525 per dog. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.

Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
