Mia's Story
MIA’S STORY: FROM TERRIFIED TO TINY GOOFBALL

Mia is a 10-month-old Terrier Mix that weighs just 8 lbs. She was found by Animal Control wandering the streets experiencing heat stroke that she nearly died from. She was very thin and and seemed to fear human interaction. She was so weak and terrified that she didn’t even understand that she was safe. For three weeks, Mia was too frightened to even let anyone pet her.

Now? She's a different dog!

With patience, love, and a safe place to land, this little girl started to realize that people could be kind. Mia is crate trained, doing great with her potty training, and turning into the sweetest little goofball. She LOVES to cuddle, loves being around her people, and is finally getting to experience what it feels like to be a happy, loved dog. From fighting for her life to rolling around like a goofy little puppy.

Mia is ready to find her forever family. Could you be her person?

Please know, Mia does struggle with some separation anxiety and we’re working on it with an amazing professional trainer, Natalie with @rockdogca

If you are interested in Mia, please go to our website: terriersrus.org and complete the application.

Find us on instagram @ terriersrus_rescue

LOCAL AREA ADOPTION ONLY!
