Meet Mia<br/><br/>She is a cute, petite & athletic 1.5 year old girl who came to us after her owners had a significant change in life. Mia is a Lagotto Romagnolo, which is a dog who looks a lot like a poodle type, but has been specifically bred to hunt truffles! True to her breed, Mia is very scent driven. She enjoys nose to the ground activities & dog puzzles & food games. Mia currently lives on a Christmas tree farm, where she enjoys the company of other dogs, hiking on the property and swimming! <br/><br/>Mia is shy at first and will often bark, but is very food motivated & warms up nicely. She has lived with young children and been safe. Mia also loves to sleep in bed at night with her people.<br/><br/>Mia requires an active household & a fenced in yard to keep her safe. She would also benefit from someone who is home often, as that is all she has ever known and does have some nervousness being alone.
