This curious and confident girl has a moderate energy level and is a star when it comes to training. She's food-motivated and a very quick learner, already recognizing basic commands. She is also making wonderful strides with her leash manners and knows to whine at the door when she needs to go out! Merrin will need a secure kennel to continue her crate training, as she's proven herself to be quite an escape artist with standard wire crates. She is still learning how to relax in her crate, but has done great so far when left for short periods of time. Merrin has done well with children and other dogs, though she should find a home without backyard livestock due to her prey drive. She has been around cats and mostly leaves them alone, but they can be a bit exciting for her. She'd thrive best with a semi-active family or a canine sibling to help her burn off energy.
