**LOCATED IN FAIRBANKS**<br/>Merrin<br/>One Year Old<br/>Spayed Female<br/>Siberian Husky Mix<br/>Vaccinated<br/>Microchipped<br/><br/> Meet Merrin! <br/>Merrin is a confident, moderate energy sweetheart who transitions seamlessly from a morning run to a long afternoon nap. She is house trained, food motivated, and a very quick learner who has mastered basic commands and is learning to wait at doors and improve her leash manners. Merrin prefers slow introductions to new friends, and once acquainted has gotten along with other dogs of all sizes, kids, and cats. A home without backyard livestock or a very secure way to keep her separate from them is recommended due to her natural prey drive. Merrin does have a heart for mischief and is capable of escaping traditional wire crates. A secure kennel is recommended for continuing her crate training and when she is left alone. She is still learning how to relax in her crate but so far does very well when left for short periods at a time and she is getting more comfortable every single day. She is also sleeping peacefully through the night in it! Merrin is a real sweetheart who would thrive with a semi-active family or a canine sibling to burn off energy with.
