Meet Merlin — our gentle giant with a heart of gold!<br/><br/>Merlin’s story could have ended very differently… but thankfully, it didn’t.<br/><br/>This sweet boy was found scared, alone, and stray with a cable wrapped around his neck, trying to survive in a dangerous situation no dog should ever face. At just 11 months old, Merlin was still a baby — confused, frightened, and unsure who he could trust.<br/><br/>Merlin is a Great Pyrenees, a true gentle soul, and at 75 pounds, he’s basically a big fluffy toddler. Despite what he’s been through, he has shown nothing but sweetness and resilience.<br/><br/>We stepped in and said yes when he needed someone most. Merlin was rescued from that terrifying situation and placed into a loving foster home, where he finally learned what safety feels like. <br/><br/>Wanting to give him every chance at success, we even invested in structured boarding, where he has learned:<br/>✨ Good manners<br/>✨ Leash walking<br/>✨ Confidence and routine<br/><br/>Merlin is still young, still learning, and still growing — but he’s already proven he wants to be a good boy. Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on licensed transport vehicles including buses and cargo vans. If available, private planes or in cabin on Southwest Airlines (if small enough to fit in carrier under seat).<br/><br/>We go above and beyond to provide unparalleled care for our pets. Our commitment to comprehensive medical care, excellent nutrition and foster home settings sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care.<br/><br/>When you choose a dog/puppy from our rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place.<br/><br/>We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this companion is the right fit.
