Meet Merle!<br/><br/>Merle is a 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a truly stunning merle coat—and a story that tugs at the heart. Sadly, Merle is both deaf and visually impaired, which makes navigating the world confusing and sometimes overwhelming. Without patient guidance, he may bump into things, but what he lacks in senses, he makes up for in spirit.<br/><br/>Merle is still an active, fun-loving boy who enjoys training (especially when treats are involved!) and is eager to learn with someone who understands his unique needs. He’ll need help polishing his manners and building confidence, but he does try—and that effort is part of his charm.<br/><br/>Because of his disabilities, Merle struggles with other dogs and will need to be the only pet in the home. What he truly needs is a compassionate human willing to be his guide, his safety net, and his biggest cheerleader.<br/><br/>Merle’s world may be a little darker and quieter—but with the right person, it can still be full of love.
