Meet Merle! Merle came to CCHS as a stray from the Loyal area earlier this December and unfortunately his owners hadn't come forward for this spunky pup. This dashing Jack Russel Terrier mix is about 3 years old and weighs roughly 25lbs currently. Merle is a charming guy that cannot wait to show you his smile! He's got "Hungry Eyes" when it comes to getting attention and can't help but "Sing a Sad Song" when he doesn't feel like he's had his fill! While we aren't entirely certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% "Bringin' Home Good News"! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. <br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
