Meridith is a female Pekingese, born on January 17, 2026 to a Pekingese mother. Her father is also a Pekingese. Pictures of parents are available upon request. <br/><br/>She weighs approximately 9 pounds. Both parents weigh under 12 pounds. <br/><br/> After Meridith and her 3 brothers came to our rescue, all four were Immediately professionally groomed at Georgia's Pet Boutique in Nash, Texas and some of their hair had to be cut shorter than the normal "Pekingese style" because they had mats and tangles. Regular professional grooming is a must for the Pekingese breed.<br/>They also had fleas prior to coming to our rescue and as a result, suffered some hair loss on the top of their heads. The hair is already growing back and of course they have no fleas now and are now on Simparica. <br/><br/><br/>Our next transport for pre-adopted dogs and puppies from our rescue at 484 Farren Rd, Texarkana, Texas 75503 to the 5 locations listed below is June 10th, which means we will leave Texarkana, Texas on the evening of the June 9th.
