Mellie

Mellie came to us August 15, 2024 from the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center. She is about 2-3 yrs old and was probably used for repetitive breeding. That has now stopped and she is safe.<br/><br/>Hey! snort I'm Mellie. I'm a super happy girl who absolutely loves pets and cuddles. I will just hop on you and ask for a ton of lovings and if you say no then I'll just keep asking until you say yes! The humans say I can be a bit of a clinger for cuddles. It's just my favorite thing. Sometimes I like to chase a ball briefly but then I always just run back to my person. I like to play around with the other pups and get a little froggy. But exercise is a little hard for my squish face, so I do what I can in short bursts before I really start snortin'. I started my training late because I had a bad case of kennel cough but I'm already pretty chill on leash, don't mind my crate one bit, and am working on some basic commands. I'll do anything for a snack! So, if you've got a good snack and some cuddles available at your place, then I would love to be your forever pal
