Mellie

Mellie is a 11-week-old, 9 lbs pit bull (maybe boxer) mix with the biggest personality packed into a tiny puppy body. She’s full of love, always ready to play, explore, and make new friends. The vet thinks she will be medium size (35-45 lbs) when fully grown.<br/><br/>She absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion or an active lifestyle where she can get all her zoomies out. Whether it’s hikes, beach days, or a game of fetch in the yard, Mellie is your girl.<br/><br/>Melly recently entered the Riverside shelter as a stray, all alone, and we don’t know much about her past but what we do know is that she’s ready for a fresh start and a life full of love, structure, and adventure.<br/><br/>As a young puppy, she is still learning all the basics:<br/><br/>Potty training (in progress!)<br/>Crate training (working on it!)<br/>Puppy manners (a work in progress)<br/><br/>Because of this, she will do best in a home that is committed to structure, consistency, and continued training.
