Meg (Adopted!!) Labrador Retriever Mix Westbrook, ME

MEG NOW RESIDES IN A MAINE FOSTER HOME UNTIL THAT PERFECT FAMILY COMES ALONG!
Meg is settling in really well at her foster home. Her temporary family says she is such a cuddle bug and loves to give kisses! She really is a sweet pup and is ready for a forever home.

Weight: 43 lbs.

Update 11/30/18:
Meg is doing great. Here is a video from the other day of her playing with my dog in the snow - which she loves by the way.

She did great over the holidays with the extended family and the other 4 dogs in the family. Overall, she has settled in very well. She is very smart and learns quickly. She has learned to sit and stay until I tell her to go eat when I put her food down. She is still a puppy and chews things but corrects easily by voice when needed.

I do not put her in the crate at night, I just shut the doors to my bedroom and she sleeps on the bed all night.

She really is a sweet dog and deserves a home with a family that will give her lots of love and attention. Just seeing the way she interacts with my dog I think she would do best in a house with another dog.

Meg is a petite labrador mix that entered our facilty from the city kennels. She is very sweet, does well with other dogs and loves people.

This application is designed to help us assist you in finding the right dog for your family. We will respond to your email within 24 hours. We will check veterinarian, landlord, and/or personal references provided. After, a volunteer will contact you for a home visit. After approval, you are able to adopt any available dog. An adoption fee in the amount of $450 for all dogs is due at time of adoption and this covers previous expenses of the dog- appropriate vaccinations, altering, microchipping and transportation fees.
