Meet Meeny!<br/><br/>Meeny is a 4-month-old spayed puppy who is ready to find her forever home.<br/><br/>Meeny and her three siblings arrived at a shelter in Mississippi as strays after a very difficult start to life. Three of the four puppies, including Meeny, suffered burns to their bodies, suspected to have been caused by exposure to something like motor oil. Thankfully, Meeny has fully healed, and her previous injuries do not affect her today.<br/><br/>Despite her rough beginning, Meeny is a happy, sweet, and playful puppy. She loves to play, but she is equally happy snuggling up with her people. She does well with other dogs and is good with kids. She is a smart girl who learns quickly and is doing very well with routines, commands, and potty training.<br/><br/>Meeny is still building confidence in the outside world. She can be timid on walks and around new experiences, so her ideal home will be patient and understanding as she continues to gain confidence. With time, encouragement, and positive reinforcement, she is making steady progress.<br/><br/>Meeny is looking for a loving family who will give her the guidance and patience she needs as she grows into the wonderful adult dog she is meant to be.
