Meeka

Here's some notes from her foster....<br/><br/>Meeka is a 5+year old Chesapeake Bay & Labrador Retreiver mix. She is excellently behaved in and out of our house. She wants nothing more than to snuggle with people. Wanna watch a movie, she's in! Read your book, she's good with that too. Outside, she has enjoyed exploring in the woods, hiking the trails and going on a snifari. She sleeps loose on the floor at the foot of our bed and settles down quickly. When we go out, she is loose and trusted alone in the house. She is a gentle treat taker and not a garbage mouth - surprising for a lab!<br/><br/>Meeka is working on building her confidence and would likely do well with a similarly aged, confident dog to model those behaviors for her. If that buddy also enjoys a good snuggle, Meeka will probably bond quickly with them.<br/><br/>Having Meeka join our home is like hitting the foster dog jackpot! She is well behaved and super sweet. She stays off of furniture and is very pleased to settle herself in a comfy dog bed or on the floor. She appreciates an early morning which we are working on. She's eager to get on with the day, which as retirees, we are less eager about. Meeka has a quiet steady presence and loves to be with people. She will be a great addition to your dog family!
