Meet Meatball
Hi my name is Meatball!
I’m an 11 wk old bully pup. I’m full of energy and very playful. My favorite place to lay in this cold weather is on top of the heat vent. Or early morning snuggles on moms lap. My favorite toys are my chew bones, any ball, toys that squeaks and stuffed animals. Wait ... I like all toys! I also like to snuggle down in my dog bed with a soft blanket. Potty training is pretty new for me but I will catch on fast. I have mastered sit and lay down . I like to be helpful and get inside the dishwasher every time my foster mom opens it. I don’t get why she keeps putting me back on the floor. I’m going to need a forever home that is experienced with my breed and prepared to work with a trainer to be sure I become the best me I can. I can be pretty stubborn sometimes & need a family to help me work on that. A home where I’m not left alone much would really be great and a fenced yard too. I’m super cute as you can see & growing real fast . I’m told I’m going to be a big boy some day. I do have an eye issue and the vet said it should be removed. It will be done along with my neuter and while this is not ideal I was born this way and it is all I know!
Adopters must live within a 100-mile radius of Joliet, IL to be considered. The adoption fee is $425 with $100 refundable deposit added. This covers all shots, spay/neutering and microchip.

Our adoption process typically takes from one to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalizing the adoption.
If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for up to 1 year and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
