Meatball's Story

Meatball is a lovable guy with a big heart, he’s already won over our hearts with his squishy face and soulful eyes. Meatball is currently with our friends at Mason Dixon Dog Training, where he’s getting some extra support as we learn more about his personality and needs.

While he has a lot of love to give, Meatball does best in a calm, quiet home with experienced dog people who understand that every pup comes with their own story. He can be wary of new people and unfamiliar situations, especially due to what we believe is limited vision. Because of this, he’s shown some fear-based behaviors around strangers so he’ll need an experienced home with adults only and no heavy foot traffic.

But here’s what we do know:
• Meatball loves having a routine
• He thrives with gentle guidance and patience
• Once he feels safe, his true affectionate side starts to shine

We’re taking things slow and making sure Meatball gets exactly what he needs to succeed a loving, quiet, low-traffic home where he can decompress, build trust, and just be himself.

If you’re someone who understands that healing takes time, and you believe in second chances, Meatball might just be your guy.

Reed's Rescue
443-826-9841
P.O.
