At a full grown 30-lbs, she's considered a "mini" version of her breed. She LOVES to play, explore, chase insects, romp around with her toys, and be part of whatever her people are doing. Once she’s gotten her wiggles out, though? She’s more than happy to settle in for some serious cuddling and soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. <br/><br/>Meadow is great with other animals and would be happiest in a home with another younger, playful dog who can match her energy and become her built-in bestie. She currently lives with an older, smaller dog, and while they coexist well, Meadow is definitely looking for someone who actually wants to PLAY! She has occasionally shown some food guarding around her smaller canine foster sibling, particularly when food is being carried around, so her forever family should be comfortable continuing to manage mealtimes and food appropriately.<br/><br/>And did we mention this girl comes with some pretty impressive credentials? <br/>House trained? Yup. Crate trained? Absolutely. Leash trained? You got it. Dog friendly? For sure. Kid friendly? That, too! <br/><br/>Meadow currently sleeps in her crate at night and does great, although she’d like everyone to know that she is VERY willing to accept a promotion to sleeping in the human bed. <br/><br/>Her biggest enemy? Boredom. Meadow is an active, smart young dog who needs playtime, enrichment, adventures, and a family who will keep her involved in daily life. Because she can get enthusiastic with her play, a home with very young children should be prepared for the occasional accidental “Meadow bowling” moment. She’s wonderful and friendly with kids—she just sometimes forgets she’s not tiny!<br/><br/>Meadow truly is a wonderful, affectionate, happy girl with so much love to give.
