MEADOW 425's Story
If you're looking for a happy, playful companion with a heart as big as her smile, Meadow might just be your perfect match!

At just one year old and about 35 pounds, Meadow is the perfect medium-sized pup. She has the playful energy of a young dog and enjoys spending time with other dogs (especially her two chihuahua foster brothers). Whether she's romping around the yard, playing chase, or trying to convince her canine friends to wrestle, Meadow is always ready for fun.

Meadow is also incredibly affectionate and loves being part of the family. After a day of playing, she's happy to relax nearby—although don't expect her to curl up into a tiny ball! This girl loves to stretch out and has made herself right at home snoozing on the bedroom floor.

Like many young dogs, Meadow is still learning the ropes. She's making great progress with potty training and is beginning to understand that going to the back door means it's time to head outside. She occasionally has accidents if she can't make it out in time, so she'll do best with a family that's patient, consistent, and willing to continue building on the great foundation she's already started.

Meadow is comfortable in her crate while her foster mom is at work. She happily settles in with a peanut butter-filled Kong and waits patiently until it's time for her next potty break and play session.

Meadow is a smart, loving girl who is eager to learn and even more eager to love. With a little continued guidance and a lot of affection, she's going to make an incredible companion for one lucky family.

Could that family be yours?

If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for one of our great dogs, please go to our website- (SEE PINNED POST) and submit an application. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$375+tax for ages 4-7
$275+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs. Should you see a dog that interests you, please send us a Facebook message or an email with your approval number. Please be patient with us, as Lucky Mutts Rescue is run strictly by volunteers and many of us work full time jobs, have families and also foster dogs. Thank you for considering Lucky Mutts Rescue for your next furry family member!
