MAYA was rescued from the shelter in time to deliver 8 beautiful pups safely in her foster home. She was a wonderful mother to her babies. All the puppies have found their forever homes and now it is MAYA’s turn,

Maya has received professional training and cannot wait to show off her skills - Sit, Stay, Come, Place. The family who adopts her will have access to a follow up training session to continue to build on the training foundation she has.

MAYA absolutely loves her person and is also great with older children. She is house trained, friendly, good on leash, and playful. She loves her belly rubs and is a bed hog. Takes treats gently from the hand. She is excited to go to doggie daycare and absolutely loves playtime with other dogs of similar size. She is not fond of little dogs and is also not a fan of cats.

Maya is looking for an active family. She may be a candidate for agility training. She is crate-trained, although not a fan of it. A home with a 6’ fenced yard for her to play fetch in would be ideal.

We believe MAYA to be a Staffordshire Terrier mix. Her estimated DOB is 12/31/2018, and she weighed 41 pounds as of 2/17/21. GREAT MEDIUM SIZE.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
