Maya's Story

Maya found herself in the riverside animal shelter very pregnant. She had her 12 puppies in the shelter, but unfrotunatley 4 passed away, but her and her remaining 8 puppies were placed into foster care. She was extremely thin, but we saw her incredibly personality shined through immediately.

Maya is a big girl and is still learning that she isnt as small as she thinks. She loves attention, and has the "dane lean" down to an art. Maya is good with other dogs although she can be a bit selective at first. She walks well on a leash but could still use some work because she gets easily distracted and is house trained.

Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation.
