Maxwell's Story
Maxwell, a sweet, bright, handsome, mild-mannered, 12-year old blue merle Sheltie needs and deserves a happy home to call his own. Though he has done well with his foster Shelties, we feel being an only-dog is best for him.

Max is a pretty quiet boy, but like many Shelties, he will guard whatever he's sees as his, or bark at what he thinks does not belong. He is truly a very companionable dog, never far from his human.

Maxwell is in good health. He loves his dinner time and of course occasional treats. His favorite word is TREAT! He loves his treats. As with most Shelties, with him, a little treat will go a long way!!

He likes his short, daily walks. Due to his herding instincts, a secure, fenced yard is a requirement.
