Maxine's Story

Maxine is a sweet senior lady somewhere between 8-9 years young-her DOB is estimated at 1-15-2017. She was found as a stray and taken to Tri City Animal Control, they in turn contacted us-no senior needs to be in a loud environment-so here she is!<br/>She’s a smaller terrier mix under 15lbs.<br/>She loves her naps and boy does she love her food. She lives with big and small dogs and cats, and does awesome! Maxine is the perfect dog! She is not a fan of the leash but will tolerate it. She is very independent but loves her humans! Maxine is spayed, microchipped and UTD on all her shots, could she be the girl for you? <br/>We do recommend children over age 8 if any are in the home.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
