Maximo D12681

Max comes from a home with many dogs, and is now on his way North to find his very own family! He is a Grade A cuddler and would love to be your lap warmer this Winter. He would love another dog in the home to be his pal and show him the ropes as he adjusts to his new life. He will need support with housetraining and socialization as he hasn't had the best start and is fairly nervous when meeting new people. He does warm up in time and is friendly when he's comfortable. Max hasn't met cats or kids yet, but gets very excited to meet dogs!
Max deserves his chance to really become part of a family, he just needs patience, time and love.

Maximo, Max to his friends, is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 10/10/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30-11:30am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
