Hi, I’m Max 🤎<br/><br/>I’m an 11-month-old Rottweiler mix, about 49 pounds, and I came to the shelter on November 13, 2025.<br/><br/>I didn’t arrive in the best shape. My skin was in rough condition, and the staff made sure I saw a veterinarian right away so I could get the care I needed. I’ve healed up beautifully, and I’m looking and feeling so much better now. Handsome and healthy suits me.<br/><br/>Even with a rocky start, I’ve shown everyone here what kind of dog I am. I’m sweet, tolerant, and easygoing for such a young guy. I allow handling without issue and take new things in stride.<br/><br/>I’m still young and learning, but here’s what we know:<br/><br/>✔️ I’m doing well with other dogs<br/>✔️ I seem to be housebroken<br/>✔️ I would probably do well with kids<br/>✔️ I’m young, playful, and still learning my manners<br/><br/>One funny thing about me is that I seem to respond best to Spanish. It’s part of my mystery. Because I came in with limited background information, there are still things we’re learning about me, but I’ve been showing up every day ready to grow.<br/><br/>I’ve been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, so there are no geographic adoption restrictions. I’m ready to go home.<br/><br/>I’ve been here since November 13, 2025, with no interest yet. That’s hard for a young dog who has so much life ahead of him. I may not have had the best beginning, but I’ve healed from my past.
