Max's Story
Meet Max.

A week ago, Max was dumped and left to fend for himself.

When he was found, he was skinny, covered in scrapes, and carrying the kind of scars that tell a story no dog should have to live through. We don't know exactly what happened to him, but it appears he may have been thrown from a vehicle or struck with something. Despite it all, Max hasn't given up on people.

He's only about 10 months to 1 year old, weighs just 12.2 pounds, and is expected to be around 15 pounds at a healthy weight. We believe he's a Schnauzer mix with the cutest ears and the sweetest little face you've ever seen.

Max is safe now, but he still needs help.

He is scheduled to be neutered on June 17 and will need vaccinations, a microchip, parasite prevention, and continued veterinary care before he's ready for adoption.

If Max's story touches your heart, please consider making a donation toward his medical expenses. Every dollar helps give this little guy the fresh start he deserves.

He didn't deserve to be abandoned.

Let's show him that his story doesn't end there.

To donate, send us a message or visit our website.

Max is located in Bakersfield, CA and is available for adoption.
