Max's Story

Max would like to formally introduce himself as the shelter's resident goofball, play enthusiast, and work-in-progress. <br/>Max is a 3-year-old mixed-breed boy with a gorgeous brindle coat, long hair, and a personality that is impossible not to love. He LOVES to play and has plenty of goofy energy to keep you entertained.<br/>Now, we're not going to pretend Max has everything figured out. He could definitely use some work on his manners and would benefit from someone willing to put a little time into training. But here's the thing: we see the potential. Underneath the goofy antics is a dog who could become an absolutely amazing companion with some patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. He's got the personality, he's got the charm, and he's got plenty of room to grow.<br/>Max isn't looking for someone who expects perfection on day one. He's looking for someone who will say, "Okay buddy, let's work on this together."<br/>If you're looking for a fun, goofy dog and don't mind putting in a little training to help him become the best version of himself, Max might just be your guy!
