Max

Meet Max! A classic Australian Shepherd through and through, with the intelligence, athleticism, and easy charm that make the breed so beloved. He's a people-pleaser at heart, the kind of dog who's just as happy trotting alongside you on a walk as he is playing with a furry friend.

Max is around 1-2 years old and was found alone at a middle school with no owner in sight. A good Samaritan kept him safe, and after more than a month with no one coming forward to claim him, he joined our LUVing family.

Max LUVs other dogs and people, does great with kids, and is both house and crate trained — he's clearly had some LUVng guidance somewhere along the way. Because he spent most of his life as an outdoor dog, we're looking for his furever home to have a yard where he can stretch his legs and keep doing what Aussies do best: running, playing, and staying busy. Max will THRIVE in an active home. Hed make a great agility or sport dog.

Ready to fall in LUV? Max is a smart, social, ready-for-anything companion just waiting for his person. Could that be you? Fill out an application at muttluvrescue.org.

All Mutt Luv Rescue pups receive a full health checkup, heartworm and parasite testing, are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before adoption.
