Meet Max
Max
2yr old Shep/Husky mix
Meet Max! He’s a husky mix with lots of energy and affection. When he came to us he was timid and afraid but he’s quickly unleashed his inner dog and is showing his very sweet and playful side. Max loves to play with toys and as long as he has his own toys he won’t likely get into things he’s not supposed to. He’s housetrained and walks well on a leash, however, what he’d like most is a fenced yard so he can really frolic and explore! Based on his reaction to other small animals I would say that maybe cats aren’t good roommates for Max but he sure does like to interact with other dogs. He wants to meet every dog he sees and tries to play with his canine foster sister but she’s a serious girl who doesn’t have time for his playful ways. When Max isn’t itching to get outside to play he makes a really good lap dog and will contort himself into any position to fit in nice and close to his humans. He currently lives with an older child and does really well but stills gets a little nervous with sudden movements. He’s still very nervous with men and needs a very slow and gently introduction as well as lots of patience but he’s been working on it and is making progress. Max is a really handsome guy who has come so far in such a short time. His ideal home would have active people with a fenced yard and lots of time to tucker him out each day.
Max has been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, neutered and treated with Nexgard Spectra
