Meet Max

Max is a 1-1/2-year-old Wire Haired Terrier/JRT- type mix whose owner could no longer keep him because Max did not care for the teenage kids in the home. He is a handsome, sweet boy, once he gets to know you you. He definitely has a Terrier personality and can be pushy! He is good with female dogs and likes to play. He also likes to go for walks and to be held by those he trusts. He is house-trained as well. He is reactive towards strangers and takes a little while to really warm up to new people, so he needs a quiet, adult-only home where he can take his time getting comfortable without being pushed.
