MAX - ADOPTION PENDING! German Shepherd Dog Bothell, WA

MAX UPDATE 5/5/21:

Max has been in his foster home a few weeks and is doing great. This super handsome, 4year old guy is looking for home with someone who will play catch with him endlessly (ha!) as it's his favorite game. Max grew up with another dog in the home, but seems to be wary of dogs he does not know. Because of this, we really think he'd be best as an only dog in the home. He has a prey drive, so no cats in the home, please. Max would do best in a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs. Max knows basic commands, has wonderful house manners and walks beautifully on leash. He has not been exposed to children, so any introduction to children (age 8 and above only, please) would need to be done carefully. Max is so caring and loving, anyone new who comes to visit at his foster home, he greets and brings them his toys. He loves being massaged and hugged, too! What a sweetheart!
Max is on the smaller side for a male GSD, but healthy and has no health issues or concerns. He is neutered and fully vaccinated, so he's ready to find his forever home!

This gorgeous boy is about 4 years old, and has lived with another dog. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and has no known health issues. Although he has been very loved and well-cared for in his previous home, Max hasn't had much training and is going to need a shepherd-savvy home to help him learn some manners and basics like learning how to walk properly on leash. But he is SMART, has tons of energy, loves to play (especially fetch) and chew on his toys. Max is a lovely dog who needs some guidance, a leader and patience. He would probably do best in a home with a large fenced yard. Max has not lived with cats or small children, so a home without either would be preferred at this time.
