Max was surrendered with his brother Bullet due to some prey drive issues and separation anxiety. He has lived with younger and older children and has shown himself to be very friendly towards people. With a little bit of training, he could make a great addition to a family with Shepherd experience!You'll be able to see this animal - and more - at the shelter! Culpeper County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

An adoption application must be completed and approved prior to adopting. If renting or living with family, we do have to confirm you are allowed to bring home a pet. We also do a vet reference to ensure our pets will be well cared for. If you are adopting a dog and another dog lives in the home, we will set up a time to do a meet once your application has been approved. Adoption fees are to be paid at the time of pick up.
