Maverick

Yes we know Maverick is an odd guy in the most cute of ways. He has the body of the basset hound, nose of the poodle and the ears of the basset hound. He is definitely very unique. To be a doodle, he has the great kind of hair that just requires regular brushing, but does not require periodic professional grooming. Maverick is currently a year old and is an absolute cuddle bug. He has received no obedience training up to this point so he is definitely working on house manners, personal space and not jumping when he gets excited. Certainly very normal things for a pup to need to learn. He loves toys, playing and can switch quickly to enjoy a walk or snuggling on the sofa. He is a very versatile fellow. He is fairly quite and generally waits to sound the alarm when a delivery driver arrives or when the doorbell rings. He certainly does not bay like a Bassett but is definitely a hound and his nose can sometimes get him into trouble. Although he has the very short legs, the length of his body allows him to counter surf if there is a tasty treat he may be able to wrangle.
