Maverick

Maverick is a very affectionate one-year-old Chocolate Lab mix who is a very easy keeper. He loves people and dogs and wants to be friends with everyone. He is working on his leash manners, and because he is extremely food motivated, he a joy to train. This intelligent boy is quick to learn your routine and adjusts to it. For a Lab mix he is quite low key and doesn't need a lot of exercise, though he's up for a hike if you are! He sleeps in his bed through the night and wakes up between 6 am and 7 a.m. He wants to spend his day stretched out next to his humans, making him a great work-from-home companion. He loves playing with his toys, but he's usually done in about ten minutes and settles down for a nap. Maverick is fully housetrained and rides very well in the car.
