Maverick is a tiny survivor with a huge heart 💛 <br/><br/>This 8–10 year old, ~10 lb Yorkie mix has come an incredibly long way since being adopted from the PG County shelter in October 2024. When he was first found, he weighed just 6.7 lbs—but today, he’s healthy, thriving, and ready for his next chapter.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is neutered, housetrained, and great at letting you know when he needs to go out (he’ll politely whine or bark—no guessing needed!). <br/><br/>Maverick is currently living with a 10-year-old Husky and enjoys playful moments with her, though he can be a little aloof at times. He has also done well around other dogs while boarding, making him a good fit for a home with a canine companion 🐶<br/><br/>Maverick’s ideal home:<br/>✨ No cats<br/>✨ Adult-only home or older children (12+)<br/>✨ A patient adopter who will continue to give him the love and stability he deserves<br/><br/>Maverick is being rehomed. His family loves him deeply, but with upcoming changes and young grandchildren visiting, they must make the difficult decision to find him a safer, more suitable home. He doesn’t deserve to go back to a shelter—he’s worked so hard to get where he is today.
