Hi, I'm Maverick! My story didn't start the way it should have. I came to KAAS from a severe abuse and neglect case. When I first arrived, I weighed just 38 pounds. I was starving, scared, and so thin that every bone showed. I wasn't sure who I could trust, and honestly... can you blame me? But thanks to a little love, patience, and lots of food, my life has completely changed. I've grown into a healthy, handsome boy, and my heart has healed right along with my body. These days, I'm known for being a total love bug who just wants to be close to the people I love. I can still be a little nervous when meeting new people, but all I need is a little patience... and maybe a few yummy treats.
