MAURICE - Adopted! Boston Terrier Spring, TX

BACKGROUND: Little Maurice was picked up as a stray with Margaux, after someone witnessed Margaux being hit by a car. Both were turned over to rescue from the shelter, so that we could provide immediate medical attention to both. Maurice has had surgery for bilateral "cherry eye," and has healed nicely. He is currently on medication for heartworm treatment, and can go to his forever home now with specific instructions to have restricted activity until he tests negative. Maurice is young and high-energy, but he is learning to walk nicely on a leash and to stay quiet when he is in his wire cage. Maurice is very sweet and rides in a car like a little angel. He does have one bad habit of barking at his stainless food bowl, so we always pick it up as soon as he has finished eating!

ADOPTION INFO: Maurice's adoption fee is $395.00, which includes a physical exam, all vaccinations, neuter, cherry eye surgery, deworming and any other care received while in rescue. If you would like to adopt Maurice, please complete an application on our website at: www.HoustonBostonRescue.org
