He’s smart, curious, and affectionate — always ready for an adventure or a good snuggle once he’s tired out.<br/><br/>Matthias loves other dogs and plays great with bigger pups. He can get a little too excited with smaller ones but is learning to be gentler. He’s cat-friendly, respectful of their space, and has been sweet around a baby in his foster home. On leash, he walks nicely after his initial burst of energy and is working on not pulling. Crate-trained and nearly housebroken, Matthias is picking things up quickly and will thrive with consistent guidance.<br/><br/>He’d do best in an active home that can give him exercise, structure, and love — a playful dog companion would be a bonus! With a little patience and training, Matthias will grow into the loyal, fun-loving companion every family dreams of.<br/><br/>We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs.
