Matilda's Story

At this age, it can also be very difficult to accurately determine breed based on appearance alone. For now, we are considering them mixed-breed puppies and will be looking for homes based on each puppy's individual personality and needs rather than an assumed breed mix.
• Matilda will not be available to go home until she is 8 weeks old.
• Matilda is not spayed due to her age. Her adopter must agree to have her spayed within 6 months of adoption. If completed at our partner vet in Mississauga, the procedure is included in the adoption fee. If you choose to have it completed elsewhere, it will be at your own cost. Proof of spay is required as part of the adoption agreement.
• Matilda will be up-to-date on vaccines appropriate for her age. Fetch + Releash will cover the cost of the entire puppy booster series provided it is completed at our partner vet in Mississauga. If you choose to finish the vaccine series with your own vet, proof of vaccination will be required.

About YOU!

Puppies are a lot of work. At just 8 weeks old, we are looking for families with FLEXIBLE work schedules and the time and energy to invest in socialization and training.

Yes, they are tiny and oh-so-cute, but we can pretty much guarantee that they will:

• Pee and poop on your floor
• Chew your furniture
• Eat your designer handbag
• Ruin your leisurely Sunday morning sleep-in

As a condition of the adoption contract, Matilda's new family will be required to:

• Ensure she has an opportunity to go outside every 2-3 hours. If you work full-time, this means hiring a dog walker to come in 2x per day for a puppy visit.
• Attend and complete a basic obedience class at your own cost. Proof is required.
• Provide plenty of socialization opportunities, both dog and human. It's critically important at this stage.

If you're interested in adopting Matilda, please apply at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form

Matilda's adoption fee is $1000.
