We don't know exactly how his leg was injured, but the veterinary team determined that amputation was the best course of action. And this sweet boy hasn't missed a beat!<br/><br/>Teo has taken to life on three legs beautifully. He easily navigates stairs, runs happily through the grass, and loves to hop up for pets. Hes potty and crate trained, and he learned sit in just five minutes! Hes treat-motivated, eager to please, and clearly a very smart little guy.<br/><br/>Teo also has a wonderfully deep bark that sounds like it belongs to a much bigger dog—a fun bonus if you'd like a tiny security system to announce when someone suspicious is at the door! Otherwise, hes a friendly, gentle boy who may be a little shy at first while he gets to know you.<br/><br/>He currently lives comfortably with another small dog. Larger dogs may make him a bit nervous at first, so hell likely do best with patient introductions and time to build his confidence.<br/><br/>At about 20 pounds, Teo is the perfect size for adventures and cuddles. Keeping him lean will be important to help take some extra pressure off his remaining joints. He travels well in the car and, if hes riding in the passenger seat, he loves resting his paw on your hand—a pretty adorable way of saying, Im right here with you.<br/><br/>Teo has already shown us that having three legs isnt going to stop him from enjoying life. Hes ready for someone who will give him a little patience, lots of love, and all the adventures and love
