Meet Mason
Mason came to us as an owner surrender in April of 2023. It was said that he did not get along with the other dogs in the home. It could partially have been due to none of the animals having been spayed or neutered. Here at the shelter, we have not had any issue with Mason reacting to the other dogs. Here, he has shown himself to be an affectionate cuddle bug! He is generally easy to walk on a leash, and very calm and gentle. And don't let the age fool you, he is still eager to play with his toys! The only time he seems uncomfortable is when being put into his kennel at the end of the day. It is then that he shows some anxiety, but who can blame him. A shelter is not the place to be living out your days. He, like all of our other dogs, need that furever home to feel relaxed and peaceful and free to be the dog that they were meant to be.
